Join ReRun for a Community Awareness Event.

Currently we have a clothing crisis! 300,000  tonnes of clothes end up in landfill each year in the UK (Wrap Report - Love your clothes) and less than 1% of clothes end up being recycled.

At ReRun we are bursting at the seams with running clothes. Event t shirts and end of use trainers being the most prolific waste and making up over half of the items we receive.

Many of the clothes we receive at RERun HQ still have tags and with regards to event t shirts many are still in their (plastic) packaging when we receive them.

ReRun have put aside the 200 pre loved, or possibly pre not really wanted, race tees and on Tuesday 15th December will randomly allocate them to each of you by way of blindly picking them out of a large box. If you're feeling excited, or maybe just at a loss for something to do you can actually tune in live to watch this!

We will be on the GB Ultras Community FaceBook Group  starting at 7.30pm sharp allocating t shirts to runners.  If you miss the live or maybe have found something better to do?!

You can wait and these tees will then be posted to you!  unless you email us otherwise reruninfo@yahoo.com (All t shirts will be sent out by the 18th Dec which should arrive to you by Christmas Eve depending on how Royal Mail are coping! If they don't arrive by then, email us and we will send you a picture)

Race Entries close at 12pm on Tuesday 15th December 2020.  Be quick & Secure YOUR Place!

As the event suggests it's going to be a random one, you may receive a tee that is either too big or too small for you, we would however still encourage you to run in it, take lots of videos and pictures and share them to socials with the hashtag #werunwithrerun and #GBUltras ... This way everyone can enjoy and see the random exploits.

Please interpret the Tee however you see fit, that's the fun bit. The 400km across the Gobi Desert could be a tough week!

The UTMR 100 could be the Ultra Tour Mum's Road 100 times. The Lakeland Trails 50 could become the Cakeland Trails a beautiful route visiting all your local bakeries as aid stations, Or LEJOG race tee could just be a jog with a frenchman or woman.

After the week, if you have grown attached to your shirt please keep it and give it a loving home, it really needs one. If it doesn't fit you could give it away or upcycle it in some way. (@ginsrunningstitchon instagram is great at this!) Or ..... send it back to us at ReRun and possibly anymore unwanted gear you have. Rerun HQ is at 18 New Road, Shoreham by Sea, BN43 6RA.
