For Ian, training is not generic and what works for one runner may not work for another.  With a personalised plan, Ian takes the time to find out your goals and finds your training balance so that you can then work together to find a path that will get you to your goal.

Ian works with all athletes from those new to the sport to marathon winners, ultra running podium finishers and multi-day event athletes.

Scott Brown

An ex-Army physical trainer and now Gym owner, personal trainer and a Scottish Athletics running coach & ultrarunning coach based in Ayrshire, Scotland.

Running is a lifelong passion of Scott’s and although Scott owns a gym, his main reason for having one is to get people fit indoors for the great outdoors.  Scott has a vast running experience, competing in distances of 5km all the way through to ultramarathon’s from 43 miles, 100km, 100 mile, 215 mile and 275 mile.

Scott has taken on and won the Race Across Scotland 215 mile amongst some of the toughest races out there, and understands not only what it takes to complete but also take that wealth of knowledge and experience into what it takes to compete.

Scott expects only commitment and the willingness to try.  With these two key attributes there can be consistent results. Scott has had great success as a coach already with some of his athletes winning and placing in various events.  Scott also coaches a number of athletes who are at the other end of the scale, who don’t race to compete but who race for the love of trail and ultrarunning and for the adventure, and they hit performance goals personal to them.
